There are so many definitions of what a coach is. Most of the time when you say the word coach, something from the sports world typically enters the mind. A person who manages a team, teaches specific skills to help you perform better, or the executive coach who can also add all kinds of skills and philosophies that will help you perform better in your business. These are great examples of what is really called directive coaching. It’s purpose is to teach you and direct you in certain skills by someone who has acquired those skills. There is nothing wrong with this kind of coaching.
The kind of coaching you’ll receive from me is a different kind of coaching that helps you become a better version of you and helps you realize you probably already have what it takes in you to transform into what it is you are working towards. You may, as part of our process, realize you may need some help in certain areas but it will be a determination you make through our process and not something I will suggest. I don’t have to be an expert in the area in which you want to change to help you facilitate the change you are looking for. My job is to create an inner monologue in you to discover exactly what it is you need to accomplish. This is good news for both of us. It means that I don’t have to become a expert in a vast variety of fields, but it also means that you have what it takes to succeed and I can help you get there. So, what are you looking to change? What are you looking to improve? Are you looking to transform a part of your life? If you are here looking for coaching, you’ve come to the right place.
