From very early on in life I have been interested in people. I like to watch the way they behave, they way they respond to tough times and stress. People to me have always been a puzzle but like most puzzles there is a big picture with some commonalities between them that help us figure out where the pieces go.
As a college student I studied psychology to find out more about people, how they tick, what makes them work and do the things they do. After college I enrolled in Seminary because I wanted to help people grow, to get better and this was a place the I believed could help prepare me to do just that. Pastoral ministry is great and there are many opportunities to walk with people through some of the toughest times of their lives. I still work to discover as much as I can about people because I believe self-awareness is the key to growth in our lives. That is why I’ve spent time learning to use the TTI assessment tools and coaching skills to help aid in helping people grow because our growth can only be measured if we truly understand who we are.
On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful woman who helps me grow everyday and we have three children. Personally I enjoy theology, golf, baseball and basketball as well as taking the occasional hike in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I’d love to hear from you with any questions you may have about coaching, assessments, or about me personally. Contact me at bryan@bryanaxtman.com.
